Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is great American high quality basketball player for the La Clippers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he's got began exclusively in the position of point guard. Paul has won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, an Olympic gold medal, and brought the NBA in assists 3 times and steals six times. At December 8, 2011, the Hornets agreed to a three-team deal transferring Paul for the Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA, which owned the team at the time, nullified the deal, together with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans are the best off holding Paul.The clubs involved in the transaction tried out to negotiate the league to change its ruling and reconstruct the deal to no avail.On December 12, the Hornets accepted a trade sending Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers, even so the deal broke down after the NBA added further demands to the original conditions. 2 days further, the teams at long last made the deal, sending Paul and two future second round draft picks for the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick on the 2012 draft. After the deal's completion, Paul declared that he could opt in the final season of his agreement and stay in La for about 2 more seasons.
